On the Saturday before Memorial Day, I went with my Mom and Grandma to visit the family graves. Instead of flowers this year we opted for pinwheels. I think they are much more fun to look at, and they don't die. I think it's kind of weird to put something on a grave that will die. It seems a little mocking, but that's just me. Anyway, here are pictures from our excursion around the city.

The front of my great-great-grandma and grandpa's grave

The back of their grave (there's a hill on the front side,
so everyone puts flowers on the back, in case you were wondering.

This is my great-great-great-grandpa's grave

These were taken at the city cemetery. Isn't it an awesome site!?!
