Kansas Trip Part 4: Downtown Kansas City

On my last full day in Kansas we visited some of the tourist spots in downtown Kansas City.

We went to the observation deck at the top of city hall

Inside City Hall

Outside City Hall - to give an idea of how tall the building was

Then we went to the Crown Center - which I must say looks so much cooler online than it is in real life! My favorite part was the Crayola store.

The Hallmark visitor's center was also a part of the Crown Center. It was interesting, but not something you want to see more than once. (Thanks Emily for going with me for your second time!) Hallmark Cards has there headquarters in Kansas City.

These are Christmas trees that were made for Hallmark. This one had cute little ornaments inside.

This was the quilt tree. (I took this one for you Lisa!)

That evening we ate some wonderful BBQ at Oklahoma Joe's!

That night we finished the last season of Chuck - which started out so awesome and ended so poorly! The following day Em and I hung out at home, then met Adam for an early lunch near his work. After lunch we headed to the airport. My fun adventure was coming to end.
