Parade of Homes 2009

Every year Mom and I try to go to the Parade of Homes. We love going through and critiquing all of the homes. We bought our tickets last week and then keep them on us so that if we're near one we can just pop right in. We may try to see one more home before Sunday, but if not, we have visited 25 of the 36 available homes. I must say, we've had a lot of fun.

Here are snapshots of some of my favorite rooms and elements:

In between the girls rooms and behind the bathroom was this playhouse. Who wouldn't have wanted one of these when they were growing up?

This was in the basement of the same house. Mom and I thought it was ideal. There's the theater with overstuffed chairs, a bar where you can sit at and watch the movie, a full kitchen -minus a stove and a card/game room off to the side.
