Flashback Friday: My First Curlers

From a very young age my mom taught me that beauty is painful. Well, not in these pictures. When I was old enough to complain about the tightness of the curlers, my mom would say "Beauty is painful" and continue to put my hair up. I have been scanning pictures from my scrapbook, so some of my posts will look more scrapbooky (is that a word?) than others.
