California Trip Day 6

As you know, all good things must come to an end. That morning we packed up the car while boys played with their bey blades. This was the last thing we did with them.

We left their house around 8 am and stopped at McDonald's for some breakfast then headed back on the road again.

Our first stop was the Primm Valley Factory Outlets. Mom wanted to walk around, so we did a lap around the mall.

We then stopped in Vegas for gas and a quick trip to the Container Store. Another store I wish we had in Salt Lake.

In Mesquite we stopped at Pizza Hut for lunch. We don't have any dine-in Pizza Huts in Salt Lake anymore, so this was a real treat.

We decided if it was at all possible we'd try to stop at the Cheese Outlet again and pick up cheese curds for the family back home. We met with some obnoxious trucks on the road to Beaver and honestly didn't think we'd make it there before it closed. But...

with some speed test zones that we tested at 90 mph, we arrived at the cheese outlet with 8 minutes to spare. Yeah, we cut it close!

After that stop, we headed straight home. We arrived home around 8:30 pm. We quickly took out the dirty clothes and started the wash and then returned our cute little rental car. It was a fun vacation and I'm glad we got to visit my brother and family before they moved.
