Trip to Kansas: Day Two

Both Em and Adam had to go to work this morning. Well, Em went to work and Adam went to his law classes. So, I ate breakfast while I watched an episode of Chuck. Then I thought I should get my lazy body up and go for a walk. I did a 1 to 2 mile walk around their neighborhood. When I got back to their apartment complex I kind of forgot which building was theirs. However, because of the placement of their mailboxes and how far they were from Dairy Queen I eventually figured it out.


Em came home around 11:30 and we went to downtown Lawrence. We walked around the different shops there. It was a little cold, but if you stayed in the sunlight you'd be ok. Then, we went to Shuttle Pizza where 2 drinks and a small pizza were five dollars. Yeah, it was awesome!

After we ate we drove around the KU campus. Talk about a hilly campus. I think it's worse than the U of U campus. We also looked at some of the fancy homes in Lawrence.


For dinner we went to Zig & Mac's bar. I had the fish and fries and Em and Adam had the chicken. It was all delicious. When we got home we made chocolate chip cookie dough, which we ate as we watched the fifth Harry Potter movie.
